After an hour at the dog park this morning, I just wanted to lay outside our door with a good stick.  If only I could get Elise to let me bring it inside........

This is my happy face!  I get soooo happy when my friend Kyra comes and takes me for a walk during the day.  If my humans have a long day at work, it keeps me from going stir crazy and deciding to eat the couch.  

Elise brought me home a new toy today!  It's a fuzzy octopus!  I've been running around with it, flinging it into the air, ever since.  Well, my first order of business was to chew the top off and tear up the tennis ball that was inside.  Now I'm happy just to carry it around and not destroy it anymore.  It might just be my new favorite.  The only thing that could make it better, would be if it squeaked.  Hmmm...Elise doesn't buy me a lot of toys that squeak though.

Well, I guess it was time for the dreaded "bath" again today.  My humans took me to the dog park to run around and play first at least.  I love swimming and playing in the river, but something about having to hold still while being washed, does not appeal to me.  I'm getting a little better, but the blow dryer at the end still sends me through the roof!  I don't like the way it blows my fur up!  I tried to be good and held still for a few minutes of that, but then Elise let me down and finished drying me off with a towel.  Now all I want to do, is go roll in another good pile of mud.

I am sleepy!  Today I went for a run with Elise in the morning, and then Brandon took me for a run after work.  I'm always happy when I'm nice and tired.

This morning Elise and I went to the dog park, in her new car...that she calls "Lucy".  There weren't that many dogs there, because it was cold and raining/snowing.  The icy wind was blowing sideways!  I'm happy I have my fur to keep me warm.  We played lots of fetch, and I got to play with 4 golden retrievers!  I blended right in.  I didn't want them to leave and tried to follow them home.  I also met a very tall great dane, in a sweater.  Apparently he didn't have enough fur to keep him warm.  By the time we left, I was soaking wet, and now I think Lucy has a good "wet dog" smell.

This morning I quietly crawled into bed next to Brandon.  He pretended to mind, but then just continued to sleep, so I snuggled right in.  He even let me share his pillow.

Yesterday I got a visit from my Aunt Erica and my 3 cousins.  My little cousin Emma might be my favorite.  I followed her wherever she went and licked her face and then laid down next to her.  This is a picture of Emma, Elise, and me watching the movie Elf.  Buddy the Elf...I like his name.  I might have to dress up like him, next Halloween.

My dream come true!!!

Elise and I went to the dog park this morning.  There weren't a lot of dogs there, probably because it had been raining, but I entertained myself in other ways.  One of my favorite things to do there is jump over the fences that surround the muddy slough water.  I like to run through it and get as muddy as possible, and then hop the fence on the other side.

Elise got all dressed up this weekend to go somewhere.  Before she left, she tried to teach me how to dance.  I think my moves are pretty good actually.  Hers need some work.
