An Adventure in Yogurt
My grandpa gave me a taste of yogurt when I was at their house. Now whenever I see my humans eating it, I give them my best "pathetic, hungry dog" stare. Sometimes it works, and they let me lick the remains out of the container! Delicious.

I'm 2 years old! Happy Birthday to me!
At Marymoor dog park
Wearing my birthday crown and sitting with my new stuffed triceratops
After the dog park, a bath, and playing with my new toy, it's nap time.
Today I turned 2 years old, in human years! Elise and I started the morning playing fetch in the icy backyard. Then after she had lunch, we went to my favorite dog park and I got to run around for a long time. I swam in the river, played fetch, swam through the muddy ditch water, and played with lots of dogs! Then my human insisted on bringing me to the self dog wash and giving me a bath. It wasn't as bad as I remembered it being, but I still hate the dryer at the end. I prefer to air dry. After that, we stopped at the pet store and I picked out this new stuffed triceratops. He makes a great addition to my stuffed animal collection! When we got home, Elise insisted on taking a couple birthday pictures of me in this annoying crown. I got used to it, and eventually took a little nap. It's been a good birthday.

I really hate the little tube of liquid medicine my human sometimes puts on my shoulders. It smells horrible, and I can't reach it to get it off my back! She says it will keep the fleas and lice away, but frankly I'd rather live with those. When I saw her pull one of the tubes out of the drawer the other day, I tried to hide. I squeezed between the couch and table and hid in the corner. Unfortunately my human knows my love of treats and lured me out long enough to put the medicine on me. I made sure to pout the rest of the night, so that she knew I was not happy with her.
Lots of other humans (including one of my favorites, called Kyra) came over for "New Years Eve." They ate food that smelled really good. I stared at them longingly, while they ate, but no one dropped anything. Then they sat around and played something that included "dice." They shook the little square dice in a cup. It was fascinating to me. I sat there and watched in case any of them dropped and needed to be eaten.
