This morning we went to Marymoor dog park (my favorite).  It was pouring down rain, so there weren't that many people there, but I still managed to wear myself out.  I swam, burrowed through the blackberries, and ran laps with some other energetic dogs!  I have the best dreams during my after-dog-park, morning naps.
I can get away with sleeping on the corner of the bed by Elise's feet because her legs aren't long enough to reach that part of the bed.  Sometimes in the middle of the night, though, I'll sneak up and cuddle with her extra large pillow that she is usually hugging.  She is right.  It's really comfortable.
As I've mentioned before, when my human Brandon comes home from wherever he goes in the morning, he seems exhausted.  He usually crashes on the floor for a while.  I feel the need to lay by him until I know he's going to be okay.  I try to get as close to him as possible, stare at his face, and make sure he's still breathing.

Weekend with Kyra!

So excited that one of my favorite humans was here to play with me!

After going for a run, and lots of walks, I'm pooped.

My humans went away for the weekend, last weekend, but they left me with one of my other favorite humans.  Kyra and I spent the weekend going on runs and long walks, watching lots of Once Upon A Time, and snuggling.  I was still worn out from the fun weekend, when my humans came home!

I like to play tug-o-war, but sometimes my human complains that my toys are too slobbery.  I solved that problem!

My Playground Games

Climbing up the ladder--Please excuse my human in her pajamas.
Ugh, they made me pause long enough for a picture.
Okay, can I slide down now?

Today was a good day!  It was sunny!  I did not expect to see sunshine for a few more months.  My human and I took advantage of it.  We went for a long walk and then I hung out in the backyard for a while.  I made sure to roll in the grass a little too.  There is something about warm grass that makes it feel and smell really good to roll in.  My human says as long as I'm not rolling in the random animal poop pellets, it's okay with her.  I just wait until she goes back inside to do that.

Happy Valentine's Day!

I don't have a Valentine, but if I did, it would be my friend Mackie.  She is my favorite.  I think I shower her with so much attention when I'm with her, that I drive her nuts.  Perfect relationship.

One of my favorite pictures of Mackie and me

I helped my human put together this shelf thing today.  She let me hold things for her while I napped.
Day 2,577 (I don't know.  I'm a dog.  I don't count.) into operation "human belly watch".  I have been monitoring my human pretty closely, and she has not been getting into my box of treats, yet she still keeps getting bigger.  Then when I had my head on her lap the other day, her stomach punched me in the head!  WTF?  I jumped up and looked at it but I don't know what's going on in there.  I think something is trying to fight its way out.  Maybe it'll be another human to pet me and give me treats.  We shall see.

Sometimes my human Elise gets up earlier than Brandon.  She leaves her side of the bed nice and warm, and it seems a shame to waste it.  I'm getting pretty good at sneaking under the covers without Brandon even noticing.
When my human is on the floor, I assume it is because he wants to be closer to me.  I cuddled up with my stuffed moose, just as he obviously wanted me to do.

This air mattress usually scares the crap out of me, but today my human was laying on it, slowly making it smaller.  I decided to help out!  I think I defeated the evil air mattress once and for all!
After some morning exercise, time for a nap with my moose.
This table offers a very comfortable chin rest.  I can often be seen propped up on it, in weird positions.  I think this evening I was examining all of the dusty hairballs that have accumulated on the table.  Supposedly these hairballs are my fault.

This is one of my most flattering pictures.  Obviously I'm dreaming about something good.  My human tells me that I bark and growl in my sleep.  I think I'm probably chasing squirrels.  They're just asking for it with their bushy tails and weird jerky movements.
This is my beloved stuffed animal collection.  It includes triceratops, chicken, and moose.  I like to have at least one of them with me, most of the time.  Before bed, I run around the house and grab one of them to sleep with.  Sometimes when I'm barking at something threatening my house (such as a weird cereal box on the counter), I grab one of the stuffed animals to help me scare it away.  Every time they start to fall apart, my human stitches them back up for me.  It's going to be hard for me to control myself and not try to steal this impending human-baby's stuffed animals as well.
After a morning at the dog park, I like to enjoy the sights on the ride home.

Then as soon as I get home and my booties are in place, I crash.  I dream of chasing doggies, squirrels, and tennis balls.
